Our Global Mission
At Action Ministries Houston, we disciple men in their development of spiritual growth and leadership. Our mission extends beyond the confines of Houston and Texas. We seek to impact men domestically and internationally. Our goal is to empower men to lead with integrity and compassion through the power of the Holy Spirit. Through our discipleship programs, we build a network of support and encouragement among men, helping men to realize their God-given potential. This empowers them to effectively serve their family, their church, and their communities.

You Can Help Us Make Disciples
We are impacting Texas, America, and the world. While not everyone can go, you can help us make disciples globally. Jesus commanded us to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 RSV). Discipleship is hard work. It is messy. It is a command, not an invitation. It is essential, challenging work. Will you commit to making a monthly investment?
IMPACTING THE USA
Through weekly and monthly Zoom gatherings, Greg equips and encourages leaders across the men’s ministry movement. Your support provides churches and ministry leaders with discipleship resources that strengthen men, build families, and impact communities nationwide. From New York to California, men learn to study the Word of God and apply it in their daily lives. They learn kingdom principles they will use to teach other men. Paul wrote to Timothy, “and what you have heard from me before many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2 RSV).
Growth in South America
We partner with churches in South America to impact men with the Gospel. Pastor Robert Barriger in Peru, Pastor Omar Cabrera in Argentina, and Marcos Puhl in Brazil are impacting tens of thousands of men on a monthly basis. Red de Hombres and Universidade da Familia disciple men in person and on the ZOOM to teach men godly principles from the Bible. Then, these men lead groups to disciple other men.
Transforming Lives in South America
Jorge Nishimura, founded the Universida de da Familia in Brazil through his family’s business endeavors. Marcos Pohl is the director responsible for discipling men. Over the years since COVID, these in-person meetings have been moved to ZOOM. The number has exploded to over ten thousand groups a week who are meeting. Greg has been privileged to go to Brazil several times and network with the work that is building the Kingdom of God in Brazil.
Uganda: A Beacon of Hope
In the heart of Africa, Uganda stands as a powerful example of the redeeming power of Jesus to transform the hearts of men and a nation. In the 1980s, “slim” disease (what we now know is AIDS) ravaged a country. Men, in the church and outside the church, had an average of seven sexual partners a year. Dr. Alex Mitala and a group of men met and prayed. They created an organization called the Glory of Virginity Movement. AIDS fell from 38% to 6.4% over the next three decades as men were taught the Word of God and Christian principles. Greg is partnering with these men and is discipling the next generation of leaders in Uganda. These men are influencing communities across Africa. Alongside this, life skills training and schools provide education, nourishment, and housing for thousands of orphans.
AMH is Sharing The Gospel Around the World
From Mexico to Argentina, Germany to Albania, Uganda to Zambia, and Indonesia to Mongolia, Action Ministries Houston is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. We are making a significant, global impact in the hearts of men and families. Local men are being trained to be leaders in their homes, their churches, and their communities. We are witnessing remarkable transformations as men are taking responsibility for their actions. One leader in Vietnam turned from a life of drugs and is now discipling men on what it means to be a man of God. His discipleship classes are impacting a communist country. This strengthens individuals and families and creates purpose in the life of believers.
